  • In 1999, the Department of Chemistry became an approved Research Centre for Ph.D., fostering a culture of research and innovation.
  • In 2001, the college inaugurated a modernized classroom project, enhancing the learning environment for students.
  • In 2008, the college received re-accreditation with an A Grade by NAAC, reaffirming its commitment to continuous improvement and high standards.
  • In 2004, the college introduced self-financed courses in M. Com. and M. Sc. Maths, expanding the range of academic offerings.
  • In 2003, a well-equipped Gymnasium was set up in the college with the assistance of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, promoting the health and well-being of students.
  • In 2010, the college witnessed the blessing of a new lab set up with assistance from FIST, Government of India, and the inauguration of a new building for St. Mary's Hostel with UGC assistance, enhancing infrastructure facilities for students.
  • In 2014, the college introduced BCA in both aided and self-financing streams, B.Com with Co-operation in self-financing stream, and BA Mass Communication and Journalism, diversifying the options for students.
  • In 2018, the college received recognition as the Best NSS Unit and Best Programme Officer at State and University levels, acknowledging its active involvement in community service and social initiatives.
