The department of Media Studies aims to provide an all-round perspective and clarity of understanding in the discriminative and effective use and design of print, audio - visual, film and journalistic media for communication. The department is equipped with multimedia lab for audio visual editing and graphic designing, modern digital cameras and facilities for media production including shooting floor, lighting units and accessories. A dynamic curriculum, innovative technology aided teaching learning system and constant industry exposure in the form of internships and projects are unique features of the Department. The Department conducts outreach programmes for the community, through SGC Community TV channel.
